Water pipes and tanks
Plascoat's PPA 571 is used for the protection of steel, aluminium and ductile iron pipes and fittings.
Drinking water contact approval has been obtained from key organisations in the USA, Germany, France, Belgium, Hong Kong, Australia, Italy and the UK.
Other features include:
- Full NSF drinking water approval for PPA 571 HES Blue 536 (See certificate and link)
- PPA 571 is free of Bisphenol A (BPA), PVC, halogens, phthalates and heavy metals.
- Impact resistance – even at low temperatures
- UV and soil resistance
- Ease of processing by either fluidised bed or electrostatic coating
- No requirement for a primer
