The need for a long lasting serviceable fire extinguisher for
foam and water has long been supported by the Plascoat PPA 600
series of products. Mild steel cylinders are lined with the
specially formulated coating materials from Plascoat to meet the
performance criteria of EN3 and the corrosion effects of water and
AFFF foam.
Plascoat is unique in that it can not only offer the coating
protection for the cylinders on the inside but also long lasting
spray coating for the outside – particularly for marine applications
such as oil rigs. Plascoat can
suggest application equipment for this coating process – be it for
100s or tens of thousands of cylinders.
