CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation aimed at improving the understanding of the role of thermoplastic coatings for metal protection and corrosion prevention is available for Consulting Engineers, Architects, Local Authorities and other interested personnel. The module is organised and sponsored by Plascoat Systems in conjunction with the CPD service and aims to demonstrate the versatility of functionalised polyolefin alloys for the long term, cost effective protection of metals. The short programme is presented by Patrick Benson - Technical and Marketing Director at Plascoat Systems. It details the properties of these coatings and focuses on key features for delegates to appreciate the long term corrosion protection properties when applied to metals in adverse environments. The course also includes a range of case studies from around the world demonstrating key properties such as durability, UV and abrasion resistance and the fact that graffiti can be wiped clean.
