Deconyl is a specially modified polyamide powder applied to
metal by the fluidised bed process. It gives a protective
finish and may be used where components require an attractive,
impact and abrasion resistant finish. Coatings in Deconyl
impart a high degree of protection to metal and are
particularly suited to corrosion prevention in media such as
dishwashers and hot water systems.
Other features of
Deconyl coatings include electrical
resistance, high safe working temperature, excellent
processing characteristics, and nylon’s unique
self-lubrication properties.
