Plascoat LDPE (inc NG10)

Plascoat NG10 is a fine polyethylene powder, supplied for fluid bed coating of metal articles. The resulting coatings have a smooth and attractive finish with good edge protection and excellent covering power without the need for major pre-treatment. It has outstanding insulation characteristics and is resistant to most inorganic chemicals in solution.

Plascoat LDPE is ideal as a general purpose coating material, is available in a variety of colours and is particularly suitable for domestic wirework and tubular metal applications:

• Refrigerator shelves and baskets, racks, display stands, lampshade frames.
• Lawn mower handles, stacker chair frames
• Cup hooks, tent brackets, domestic fittings, electrical cable clips

Plascoat NG30

Plascoat NG3O is a unique polyethylene fluid bed coating powder that offers significant reductions in the use of energy, material and time during processing.

Regular use by our customers has now conclusively shown that the following cost reductions can be achieved as compared with alternative polyethylene powders:

• 15-30% reduction in material usage.
• 50-100ºC reduction in coating temperature requirements.
• 15% improvement in cycle times.

In summary your total coating costs could be reduced by minimum 30% when you change to NG30!

NG 30 white is now the most widely used polyethylene coating powder for wire items in the world.

NG30 is currently only available in white and is therefore most suitable for the coating of refrigerator, freezer and closet shelving.
