Flame Spraying of Plascoat Materials

Plascoat materials such as PPA 571 can be flame sprayed.

Always follow the guidelines, instructions and material recommendations of the equipment supplier. Never use acetylene-based flames. Always use propane as the fuel.

Flame spraying is an appropriate procedure for repairs on site, the coverage of on-site welded areas and for the coating of non-metallic items and recycled waste systems.
